September has come and practically gone… but September is always one of the most fun months in the fashion world because it is the start of the new season, there are so many new fresh trends, and of course it is NY fashion week. I truly have been feeling so inspired by new trends but also the more cyclical, year-over-year fall trends. It is always so exciting to pull out fabrications like suede, leather, patent leather and colors like oxblood, chocolate brown, and grey.

Newer trends that have been inspiring me are the barn jacket, wide leg cuffed denim, and sheer and lace detailing. Lets get into it…

Rich Textures of Suede, Leather, and Patent Leather

You just can’t beat the textures of fall. It is so fun styling with these materials after a long hot summer.

Fall’s Rich Color Palette: Embracing Burgundy, Oxblood, Navy, Grey, and Chocolate Brown

Rugged and Timeless: The Appeal of Barn Jackets and Working Jackets for Fall

I love how barn jackets are having a m o m e n t. I always have loved Barbour jackets and jackets of the like but I am especially loving them in a more “rugged” sense this fall. I love the jackets that look a little more lived in. I am especially loving them styled with more feminine outfits – I find that juxtaposition to be very interesting.

Cuffing Season: How Wide-Leg Cuffed Denim is Making a Bold Comeback This Fall

Cuffed denim is everywhere! I am seeing a wide array of denim trends so far this fall but I would say this is the biggest! I am obsessed with the AGOLDE Dame jean… pro tip, size 2 sizes down. They run HUGE!
