On Saturday my mom hosted a bridal shower for my oldest sister, Lauren! She is getting married in October and we are all so excited. We held the shower at home in our backyard. My mother truly is the hostess with the mostest and throws the most lovely parties! My sisters and I can only hope to be as good as her someday! She definitely puts us to work, though!
DIY Floral Arrangements
Sara and I are very into floral arrangements (maybe we should own a florist shop someday…) and had the best time picking out flowers at Trader Joes and making arrangements for all the tables. Which btw, Trader Joe’s has the best flowers in case you didn’t know. We used these packs on tiny vases from Amazon to make a bunch of little arrangements for every table.
We stuck to pinks and greens, with pops of yellow to go with our wildflower theme. Which we drew all our inspo from the beautiful invitations we got from Dogwood Hill.
Sara’s PJS are of course Roller Rabbit. Which seem to be almost sold out everywhere in the hearts, but they have a lot of stock in this print.
Bridal Shower Invitations
The invitations for the bridal shower were from Dogwood Hill, click here for them! We got our Christmas card from them this year too and they just have the most darling stationary and invitations. My favorite touch is the detailed insert in the envelope- just so beautiful!
Lauren’s Bridal Shower Dress
Ah, the beautiful bride’s outfit. Lauren opted for a blue and white floral dress rather than a purely white ensemble, which I loved! All of my sisters and mom accidentally all wore blue and white floral dresses- to which Lauren was not the most pleased about- HA! Regardless, her dress was absolutely gorgeous and I am linking it here.

Kudos to my wonderful mother for throwing this beautiful shower! It was so nice to shower Lauren with love and get even more excited for October ❤️
PS how cute is my mother’s front door veil creation …
