I am not going to lie. Life is not easy right now. I think all of us are experiencing burnout. Coming up on a year of the pandemic has been a huge source anxiety for me and I’m sure for most of the world.
As I have been struggling recently with motivation and happiness recently, focusing on my wellness has been a huge help. Things that typically bring me joy like working on my blog or running have recently felt like a chore.
After feeling this way for quite a while, taking some time to reset was needed. Today I decided to ease back into things a share some of my favorite things that have been “keeping me going” during the past few weeks.
1. Grace is Enough Devotional
My sister Sara actually sent me this devotional, as she knew I was struggling with anxiety. I have been trying to read a chapter daily. They’re only a couple of pages, which is great because you don’t want something thats supposed to calm you stress you out with how long it takes! Just a few minutes each morning and I’ve noticed it totally transforms my mood and mental wellness.
2. Gratitude Journal
Something I try to do at night is write down things I am grateful for. This something that again is so small, but makes such a huge difference in my mindset and mental wellness.
This gratitude journal looks so good but I honestly just do it in my blank page notebook that I journal in.
3. Eating Healthy and Healthyish Cookbook
Fueling your body and mind with healthy foods is so important. I feel so much better when I eat a healthy, wholesome meal with lots of veggies rather than eating handfuls of goldfish (trust me I do both…). I’ve been getting so much healthy food inspo from this cookbook my momma gave me for Christmas.
4. MINDSET FIRST
I’ve been obsessed with this quote.
“Everything in your life starts with your mindset first and your actions second. Your actions follow your thoughts, your beliefs, and ideas. To make a shift, to free your energy: start with getting your mind right, then take action.”
It has made such a difference in my daily life. Taking time to reflect and focus on your mindset and mental wellness is more important than ever today.

5. Daily CBD Drops
I purchased these CBD drops a couple weeks ago and have been using a full dropper every night before bed. So far it definitely has helped reduce my anxiety and help my mental wellness. The Equilibria site has a lot of information on dosage.
