I cannot believe it has already been a full year since I began Annie B. (Here is the link to my very first post!) Through one year of blogging I have grown so much and been through so much. I am so excited to continue to watch this little hobby of mine to continue to grow- I have so much fun doing it!
There are a few things I wanted to include in today’s post. First, a little update on my life since I’ve been pretty MIA on here and Instagram the past month or so. Second, my top 10 favorite looks from the past year and their respective blog posts. And lastly, plans for the future!
Life Update:
I just got home two days ago from school after finishing my junior year… well almost… I still have an online final on Friday night that I definitely should be studying for right now lol. It is so crazy to me that this year is over and that I’m almost a senior in college. Life is so bittersweet.
I am happy to be home to spend some time with my family and more importantly my dog, Moby! I have my older sister, Emily’s, graduation next week from College of the Holy Cross and I am so excited to celebrate her, but also again so bittersweet! How in the world is she graduating? It feels like just yesterday I was crying my eyes out leaving her in her freshman dorm.
This summer I will be living at home while I remotely intern for the TJX Corporation, the parent company for TJMaxx, Homegoods, Marshalls etc. I will be in the merchandising department and I am so excited to get started on May 24th! I am beyond grateful to have this opportunity.
Finding an internship for this summer was no joke. I applied to 55 (this is not an exaggeration…) and I only was accepted to one. It was such a tolling (and humbling) experience for me that lasted from last fall until my birthday weekend, at the end of April. Oh yes, that too- I turned 21 a few weeks ago! I rang in 21 with my best friends in Charleston, SC which was so fun!
As you may have noticed, I have been posting less and less on Annie B. in the past month, or almost two months. I want to be honest on here but not post too much about my personal life at the same time. With that being said, I have been very much struggling recently. Mainly due to dealing with the pain of a heartbreak. It has been difficult for me to post as my normal happy self, posting about surface level things such as clothes, while also trying to mend my broken heart.
This blog means so much to me- its something I want to put my whole heart into. It’s a space thats all mine, where I can share what I love. It is certainly not going anywhere! However, I just needed some time to deal with personal life. I am doing a bit better now that I am home, with my family, and have secured an internship. I am so excited for what is in store for my blog this summer! One year of blogging down- a lot to go! So lets get into the more fun stuff…

The Future of Annie B…
I am so excited to finish up school this week (pray for me on my Accounting final lol) and get working strictly on my blog for the next two weeks! I have so many fun content ideas planned for this summer. However, I would love to know any blog post requests or any feedback you may have at all for me! I am going to put a request box on my Instagram story today! xx
