I have been on a sneaker kick recently, no pun intended. To be honest, I love Vejas and wear mine (I have a few pairs…) all the time, but recently I have been looking for something a little different. I finally pulled the trigger and purchased a pair of Adidas Gazelles in Navy and I love them! They definitely are a little edgier/ sportier than my typical style. At this price point, I have loved experimenting with styling with them. The Gazelles are suede, which is great for transitioning into fall but not the best for cleaning. If your shoes typically take a beating, I would opt for the Sambas, which are leather and easier to clean.

New Name to Know…

Obviously not new new… but recently trending new… Onitsuka Tiger is a lower price point Japanese sneaker brand, owned by Asics. With the vintage sneaker look trending their “Mexico 66” style is all over the internet, covering my Pinterest feed, and also seen on celebs such as Hailey Bieber and Bella Hadid. This is going to be the it sneaker of the year… mark my words! I think I need a pair asap…

The best part is most of their styles are under $200. It is a very affordable sneaker with the exception of a few exclusive/ very popular color ways. All of the styles linked in this post are under $200! I have a very hard time paying more for the for sneakers because I always end up just beating mine up. These are the perfect end of summer/ beginning of fall city shoes.

Classics with a Twist

I love Vejas and New Balances. They have always been my go to sneakers! I have a couple pairs of the classic “Campo” Veja style (which are great, by the way, and go with everything!) but I have been craving something a little more funky. Same goes for New Balances. Matchesfashion.com has really unique styles for both Vejas and New Balances, and is kind of a hack for finding different pairs that you aren’t seeing everywhere else.
