One of the most trending brands in fashion right now is LoveShackFancy. I mean it’s no wonder – the whole brand epitomizes a vintage summer dream. The feminine and floral designs make me think of a perfect fairy garden tea party. I am obsessed.
But, however, I am not obsessed with the price tags. Of course, these dresses are beautifully made and have great detail so being a little pricy is understandable! But as a college student with very little income I just cannot stomach a $300+ sundress. Maybe someday, a girl can dream!
I assume if you’re reading my blog you’re likely in the same place as me – young girl whose bank account cannot take the hit of a $300+ sundress. So what did LoveShackFancy do to make their designs more accessible to gals like us? Drop a line at Target.
Don’t get me wrong, I occasionally find some really cute things at Target. But the designs they dropped just didn’t do it for me. I personally found many of the prints tacky and the designs cheap looking. I understand they couldn’t make the designs as good as the real deal ones because, well, no one would pay $300+ for them anymore! By the way, I felt the exact same way about the Lily Pulitzer for Target line. I didn’t quite get the hype!
So whats the solution for girls like Annie who hate the price tag but love the look and quality? We simply have to look else where ladies. A few retailers have caught on to the insane popularization of LoveShackFancy and have created designs that have a similar feminine, vintage, summer fairy garden party with rosé in hand vibe. The Lulu’s dress I have on is seriously my favorite dress I have found this whole season! Its adorable and great quality for the price – I could not recommend it enough! FYI – its so popular it keeps going out of stock in some sizes but it really fluctuates everyday so if you love it and they don’t have your size just check back the next day!
