Last weekend my girlfriends and I went to Banner Elk for a weekend away. It was much needed and very relaxing! We had the most perfect crisp fall temperatures and cool air so it was so nice to throw on this cozy outfit and sit by the fire outside.
Some of my favorite fall clothes are from Goodnight Macaroon, including this sweater dress! My favorite feeling is wearing a big t-shirt and no pants around the house…so sweater dresses are the best ever because it feels just like that. Super cozy, yet you look put together. Honestly, I feel like thats always the goal of my outfits. Oh and by the way this one has pockets… thats a win!
Okay lets talk OTK boots because all sweater dresses look amazing with OTK boots. These boots are also from Goodnight Macaroon and seriously are so good for the price. If I didn’t know better and saw them on another girl I would 100% think they were Stuart Weitzman. And they’re a fraction of the price.
I’ve had these boots for a year and they are still in mint condition. They literally never fall down and are so slimming… which trust me can be tricky with OTK boots. My other pair always falls down, and then it just looks silly! I seriously love this pair of boots.
Another key element of a cozy outfit for fall is a blanket scarf. This one I got from Zara a few years back and they don’t carry it anymore, unfortunately. But they definitely do have a bunch a nice and big blanket scarfs! My favorite is when they’re so big you can actually use it as a blanket or wrap. I am always SO cold so I use blanket scarves to keep warm if I am cold in class, a restaurant, on an airplane etc.! When its chilly out I just get in the habit of bringing one everywhere with me… it really does help.
