Happy February! I love the weeks of this month leading up to Valentine’s Day because it brings a little brightness to the dead of winter. Whether you have a S.O. or not, it is still an excuse to get your girlfriends or sisters a little something to make them smile.
During the next few days I am going to publish some other fun inspiration and shopping guides for heart day! Tomorrow I should have up gifts for guys but I am also working on some pink and red outfit ideas and some galentines decoration inspo!
I was meaning to have this post up on the first of the month but tragically I had to evacuate due to a fertilizer plant explosion about a half a mile away from my house at school. The past few days have been crazy trying to find places to stay! All of Wake Forest classes are canceled this week due to air quality and the potential for another larger explosion. I am so happy to be safe and far away from the area right now but am praying for the Winston-Salem community and that they can put the fire out soon.

Some of my favorite candles are LAFCO and Diptyque. They’re both luxurious and make fantastic gifts! Both brands have beautiful jars that you can reuse once you burn through the candle. For the Diptique candle, I love the Roses scent for Valentine’s day!
Flowers
I love Urban Stems for easy flower delivery! I also found these adorable vases from Anthropologie if you wanted to make the arrangement a little more special.
All Things Cozy
Some of the best gifts are cozy gifts! Slippers, a pair of pajamas, or two, a heart pillow, a silk pillowcase and eye mask, and new undies are just some ideas!
Beauty Products
I love gifts that are beauty products that I never would think to get for myself. Some things that come to mind are the ILIA blush tint stick, Chanel lip gloss, Chanel No. 5, and a rose quartz roller!
Jewels and Gems
What girl doesn’t love receiving jewelry as a gift! I am truly obsessed with Alexa Leigh jewelry right now and this heart necklace is so gorgeous. I also have been eyeing up these mother of pearl heart earrings by ASHA for quite some time. And, of course you can never go wrong with a baguette ring (pink of course for Valentine’s day!)

Honestly I love sending something even if it is just a card to all my friends, sisters, parents, and grandparents for Valentine’s day! Making other people smile brings so much joy!
